I recently received the chance to try this razor. Its the Schick Hydro Silk Sensitive Care - by Schick!
Its a non-disposible razor which comes with 2 blades and a little holder for the shower.
My usual problem with razors is that I end up nicking my skin and getting tiny bleeds. I also have a problem (sometimes) with razor irritation and bumps. When I received this razor, one of the major claims I saw on the package was that it has 5 curve sensing blades and skin guards. Sounds like a product that may not give me those nicks, right?
So well, I tried it. Several times. First of all, when it goes across your skin, you do not even FEEL like you are using a razor. I loved that! Those blades really do move with your curves. The results following the shave were lovely - nice smooth skin! My only small gripe is that I would probably have to use this everyday or every other day whereas with other razors I may go up to a week without use. That's small though - to avoid the irritation of my skin I would definitely use this razor again. Hydration wise - my skin always seems rather dry so its hard to tell. Overall, I loved it!

Lets Go Go Go...
I had an opportunity to try a relatively new product out there called Campbells GO Soup (*I received this product for free as a Smiley360 member*).
It comes in 6 different flavors:
Golden Lentil with Madras Curry
Moroccan Style Chicken with Chick Peas
Creamy Red Pepper with Smoked Gouda
Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shiitake Mushrooms
Chicken Quinoa with Poblano Chilies
and
Spicy Chorizo & Pulled Chicken with Black Beans
More information can be found here - Campbells Go
All of the flavors sound delicious! The flavor I tried was the Coconut Curry with Chicken and Shiitake Mushrooms! These soups are pretty convenient -- they may be prepared by stovetop, but can be prepared in the microwave as well - perfect for a quick lunch!
Here's what the package looks like, in case you would like to try to find this in your local supermarket.

| The package and my bowl - all ready to taste some soup! |
It contains ingredients like roasted carrots, roasted poblano chilies, bok choy and water chestnuts in addition to the chicken and mushrooms.
I prepared my soup over the stovetop; adding just a touch of freshly ground pepper. It was so quick - less than 5 minutes to prepare. The taste was...DELICIOUS! I am so pleased with the taste of this soup. I love how you can taste the sweet coconut flavor mixed with the curry flavor. I love the chicken chunks and the water chestnuts that you get with every bite. This is a perfect lunchtime at work meal, especially when you are sick and tired of just eating the same thing. Campbells soups are generally very tasty, and this one is no exception to that rule. Way to go!

| Did the taste test live up to the Doc's expectations? I think so! |
My only small gripes are that it was a bit on the salty side and I also wish that there were larger chunks of shiitake mushroom.
Random thoughts:
-I bet this product would be good paired with rice or quinoa or crackers, just to mix it up.
-The next flavor I would probably try would probably be the Creamy Red Pepper and Smoked Gouda. I am a big cheese fan and I would like to see how that flavor combination would taste.
If you were to try Campbells Go Soup, which flavor would you like to try? If you have already tried all the flavors, which do you recommend?

A New Beginning! And Coffee!
I figured I would try starting this blog up again by introducing a new product I have yet to fully try...

The Green Mountain Coffee - Wellness collection features (as of now anyway) two potentially useful blends.
The Focus Blend features L-Theanine for help with, well, clarity and focus. The Antioxidant Blend contains antioxidants - vitamins C & E.
I recieved this product in the mail to try a couple of days ago. Knowing that I truly need some focus in my life I decided to try the Focus Blend first. I must say that I enjoyed it overall. I actually had it as my second cup of coffee in the morning and I feel that while the first cup of coffee (store bought) got me extremely buzzed, the focus blend actually seemed to mellow me out. I was impressed with that effect! The taste for me was smooth and not terribly overpowering. It was a very enjoyable cup of coffee!
I plan on trying antioxidant blend over the next few days. I have high hopes about it!
At Green Mountain Coffee you can learn about these blends and other varieties they have to offer.
Have you tried the Wellness Collection yet? What are your thoughts? Let me know in a comment! B
